Roleplay art dump

Time for another art dump! I had a art block for a while and didn’t do much. But several roleplays inspired me, and made me draw these (warning, the comment for the last one could be a small District 9 spoiler!):

Snake, my bad guy. In our RP, he was imprisoned on another planet for six months. Nobody gave him a razor or hair spray, thus the new look.
But when he was freed, he was given a laser weapon. He loves it! :D

This is from the same RP. A fellow player’s character (twofold_psyche) considered it a good idea to blow up a library. The guy is supposed to look like Jeremy Irons. Well, on this picture, he doesn’t, but the man is incredibly hard to draw. A larger version of the image can be found here.

Also from the same RP. Two characters got married, and one of them wanted his best men and women to wear clothes in different colors. I loved the idea of such a colorful wedding!

And this is from a District 9 RP where Wikus laid an egg. We called it Turtle, and this is what Turtle could look like after he has hatched. :D

Artdump

I’m back from my vacations! Luckily, I had enough paper and pencils to show you the results of many creative nights! This time, I tried a more comic-like style, with clean outlines, and I’m rather satisfied with that. But see for yourself:

Drawing practice: 25 different facial expressions for one character – these are the first five.

And last but not least … uhm, I have to explain this one. A short while ago I visited CSD (a German gay parade which takes place in several larger cities). It was quite cool, the parades, the people … well, yes, and the usual idiot with sign on which were things like “Homosexuality is sin” and more bullshit like this. And as I couldn’t tell him right there what I thought of it, I had to do a picture to let off steam:

For example, Julian has met the Silver Surfer/Searcher who recently took him to a space trip.
